About this course

Taking Charge of My Life and Health is a 6 to 9 week (90 minutes per week) small group experience designed to guide participants in exploring what really matters to them and how this can be used to improve one’s own health and well-being. During this experience, a trained facilitator offers a space for each participant to identify their meaning, aspirations, or purpose (MAP), explore areas of self-care, and set personal goals that fit their life. Each session, participants will practice Pause. Notice. Choose. find support in their change process, and dive more deeply into the Circle of Health.

Objectives

As a result of this program, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify what matters most in your life: your meaning, aspirations, or purpose (MAP).
  2. Develop a well-being goal that aligns with what really matters in life.
  3. Practice Pause, Notice, Choose.

Things You Will Need

You will need a computer with internet access and a video camera Courses occur via Zoom and are highly experiential. Materials will be provided electronically.
